Good afternoon! NWS is tracking an area of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over western MN moving southeast towards the Twin Cities. These showers & storms will be capable of producing strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 MPH. The leading edge of precipitation will make it into the far western Twin Cities Metro around 6:30 to 7 PM. These showers are moving SLOW [roughly 20-25 mph]
